It is important that your meeting places be accessible to all residents who wish to attend meetings. In 2008, Camden Council had list of 74 TRA halls,  from which 55 was access audited for DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) works. Of the 55 only 26 TRA halls were included in DDA works. If you want to know if your meeting place for residents' meetings is suitable, telephone Yenok Hatamian at Camden Council,  or telephone your District Housing Manager, and arrange for your building to be access audited for DDA works.
The guidelines are in the DDA 1995 and following amendments, which can be obtained from internet.
